Booking Terms & Conditions

Booking Terms & Conditions Summary

A non-refundable booking fee (from $100) and a signed contract are required to secure your date, and once booked I hold that time just for you. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session, and your finished images are released once payment is complete. Your final edited images are delivered via an online gallery within about 3–4 weeks; raw/unedited files aren’t shared. I keep the copyright, and you’re welcome to print and share your images for personal use - just no filters or extra edits, please. Commercial use can be arranged with permission. If the weather turns bad, we’ll simply reschedule your session to another suitable day or time. Late arrivals lose that portion of the session, and no-shows are charged in full. Travel outside my usual area or larger group sessions may incur an extra fee, and I’ll always let you know upfront. When you request a booking, I’ll send you session details and agreement to go over and sign before we both commit to your session.

Common Questions

How do I book and what does the booking fee cover?

When you enquire, I’ll send you session details and agreement to go over so we can both feel clear before confirming. A non-refundable booking fee (from $100) secures your date and means I hold that time exclusively for you. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.

What happens if the weather is bad or we need to reschedule?

If the weather isn’t suitable, we simply choose another day or time that works for us both. If someone is unwell (especially little ones), just let me know and we’ll reschedule as soon as we can.

Where will the session take place and how long does it go for?

Sessions will be at one of my recommended outdoor spots, with the exception of newborn at your home. Most sessions run 45–60 minutes depending on the type of shoot and time of year. I'm based in Rodney, and do many shoots at Muriwai Beach, but if you have a special place in mind, let's discuss it. Newborn sessions are baby-led and last approximately 2 hours, but we keep our timeframe flexible to accommodate baby's needs.

What should we wear, and can you help with styling?

Yes! I’m happy to guide you on colours, textures, and outfit ideas that photograph beautifully. Simple, comfortable, and neutral tones tend to work best. A great tip is to imagine it on the wall in 10 years time.

How many photos will I receive, and how can I use them?

Most sessions include approximately 20 final edited images delivered in an online gallery within about 3–4 weeks. Raw/unedited files aren’t shared. You’re welcome to print and share your images for personal use - just please avoid adding filters or extra edits. Commercial use can be arranged if needed. Please note: once your online gallery is delivered, all sales are final and non-refundable.

Do you offer retouching or special editing requests?

All sessions include my personal editing style as shown throughout my website and portfolio. I choose to edit in a way that keeps the images looking true to life. Additional retouching (like skin work, removing objects, or specific edits) can be added for a small fee per image.

Do you share my photos on social media?

I love sharing the beautiful moments I capture, but some clients do choose to keep their images private and that’s completely okay. If you’d prefer your photos not be posted, just let me know. Your privacy always comes first.

Do you travel and are there extra costs?

Travel within my usual local area is included. Sessions outside this zone or with larger groups may have a small additional fee, which I’ll always discuss with you before booking.
